Monte Hill began service in the telecommunications industry in 1989 for a CATV rebuild project in Morristown, TN. Monte began in the installations contracting industry in 1990 and expanded his experience in that field over the next several years. Monte earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in the field of Communications from Carson Newman College in 1994.
Hill’s experience in the communications industry is from the ground up. Monte served as a lineman’s helper working with the strand crews, an installation contractor, inside and outside business sales for a national wireless carrier, project manager, regional manger and ultimately Chief Operations Officer of On Trac, Inc., a national contractor to municipalities and rural telco providers. Monte has also overseen several emerging storm recoveries and nearly two dozen multi-million dollar start-ups nationwide.
Monte, as one of the founders of On Trac, Incorporated., fully adopts On Trac’s acronym of Trust, Reward, Accountability and Consistency professionally and personally. Husband of Rebecca and father of Levi, Tucker, Stone, and Olivia are Monte’s most prized accomplishments. Hill is plugged into his local church as a Young Adult Sunday School Teacher and serves on the Board of Directors for Cornerstone Academy, a private classical Christian school in Morristown, TN. These days Monte thinks of fly-fishing and occasionally gets to go!
