Wes Hudson began his career in telecommunications in 1965 in Bellefontaine, OH while he was serving in the Air Force. Over the next few years, Wes spliced the new cable system, build the Head-end, which included the tower and trained installers and technicians.
In the early 70’s, Wes was a Chief Technician in Texas and then became a Technical Operations Manager in Tennessee. Then Wes left the MSO side to become an independent subcontractor where he performed system audits, installations and drop rebuilds.
In 1981, Wes left the contracting field and served in-house for a major cable provider as Chief Technician. During his 14 years as Chief Technician / System Engineer, Wes oversaw the daily field operations along with all technical issues and was later promoted to Technical Operations Manager and increased his oversight to plant expenses and capitol budgets. He is also served as a board member of the SCTE.
Wes Hudson joined On Trac in 2002 and has served in various capacities, including system startups, fiber management, maintenance, inventory control, installation consultant and special projects. Wes currently serves On Trac, Inc. as Fleet Manager and maintains our growing inventory of production vehicles and equipment.
